Role Description
Certified Transmissions is seeking a full-time Automotive Service Writer for its on-site location in Liberty, MO. The Service Writer will be responsible for assisting customers in diagnosing automotive issues, managing customer communication, creating detailed service estimates, and handling scheduling and service records. The role involves ensuring an exceptional customer service experience while facilitating the timely and efficient completion of repair services in collaboration with the service team.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to address customer concerns and explain automotive issues clearly.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes; ability to accurately interpret customer concerns and translate them into effective service orders.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software used for service documentation and scheduling.
- Experience in multitasking, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with technicians and service team members.
- Previous experience in a service advisor or similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional automotive certification or technical training is a plus.
