Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Apartment Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily residential community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent customer service, financial management skills, and the ability to maintain high occupancy rates while ensuring resident satisfaction and property profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily property operations, ensuring the community runs efficiently and professionally.
• Manage leasing activities, resident retention, renewals, and occupancy goals.
• Collect rent, monitor delinquency, and oversee accounts receivable.
• Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and operating expenses.
• Supervise, train, and motivate leasing, administrative, and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, unit turns, inspections, and vendor services.
• Handle resident concerns, complaints, and lease violations professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, lease agreements, and company policies.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain community appearance and safety.
• Develop marketing strategies to increase occupancy and minimize vacancies.
• Process move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and eviction documentation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Maintain accurate resident records and property management software documentation.
• Communicate regularly with regional managers and ownership regarding property performance.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment property management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily housing operations and Fair Housing regulations.
• Experience with property management software such as ResMan, Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, delinquency, occupancy, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, depending on property needs.
