Apartment Porter / Groundskeeper
Location: Slidell, LA
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team in the Slidell, Louisiana area. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, attractive, and welcoming apartment community.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community
- Pick up trash throughout the property and common areas
- Assist with dumpster and breezeway cleanliness
- Perform general groundskeeping duties
- Help keep sidewalks, parking areas, and other common areas clean
- Assist with light make-ready duties, including:
- Hanging blinds
- Minor paint touch-ups
- Light cleaning
- Other minor apartment preparation tasks
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Assist the maintenance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment porter, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred
- Familiarity with apartment communities is a plus
- Experience with trash cleanup and maintaining property grounds
- Ability to perform light make-ready work
- Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Ability to walk the property and perform physical duties throughout the shift
