Nature of Work
The Senior Financial Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to deliver financial reports and forecasts that provide insights into financial performance. They will be a partner to business units and corporate management in making critical business decisions.

The Senior Financial Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to deliver financial reports and forecasts that provide insights into financial performance. They will be a partner to business units and corporate management in making critical business decisions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial reporting activities, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, and financial analysis
- Monitor and reconcile of general ledger accounts
- Analyze and review financial data submitted by business units
- Financial analysis on account variances
- Financial support to business units and corporate management to assist in business decisions
- Support business units with budget and forecasting processes
- Ensure the financial integrity of assigned financial reporting duties
- Present financial information to business units and corporate management
- Build relationships to forge partnerships with business units.
- Assist in special projects as required
- Other duties as assigned In addition to the above responsibilities, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in process improvements for department efficiency
- Develop financial models for problem solving and assist with business unit decisions
- Assist with development of financial reporting software
- Provide training and assistance to less experienced team members
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and ability to learn financial software systems quickly
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to complete work accurately and completely with high attention to detail and in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks
- Ability to be proactive and resourceful

- Ability to make informed and sound decisions
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from a four-year college/university.
- 4 years or more of related work experience preferred
- Experience in the construction industry a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- May require periods of overnight travel
