With major expansion to our client base and use cases, we are seeking a Client Engagement Manager to support our clients in the successful deployment of our solution.
The role
As a Client Engagement Manager at CEPRES, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions to clients across the private markets landscape. You will lead a team within Professional Services and coordinate with Data Delivery, Product and IT to ensure accurate, timely, and high quality delivery of CEPRES solutions and private markets data, tailored to client needs.
You will act as a trusted partner to clients, managing day-to-day engagement, translating commercial and investment requirements into actionable data solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction through high standards of data quality and service. In parallel, you will oversee project execution, align delivery with CEPRES’ strategic objectives, and continuously optimize processes and workflows.
Your role combines client engagement, data quality, commercial awareness, and people leadership. You will mentor and develop team members, conduct performance reviews, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, while ensuring that complex client data and analytical outputs meet CEPRES’ quality benchmarks and support informed investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and the effective utilization of CEPRES solutions.
- Address client inquiries and issues promptly, serving as the senior point of contact.
- Deliver and evaluate training sessions that equip clients with the skills to maximize their use of CEPRES platforms.
Team Guidance and Development:
- Guide assigned team members to achieve project goals, ensure high-quality deliverables, and align with company objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans to support career growth for team members.
- Mentor and support junior members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Project Management:
- Oversee the management and execution of client projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with CEPRES solutions.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to achieve project success and client satisfaction.
- Act as a point of escalation for project-related challenges and ensure efficient resolution.
Presales Support:
- Work with sales leadership and team members to support later stage sales engagements.
- Help present and demonstrate CEPRES ability to meet prospect needs that increases probability to win new clients.
Process Optimization:
- Assess and refine current processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the team and improve overall service delivery.
- Develop and update documentation to support client onboarding and solution deployment, promoting client self-sufficiency.
Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights based on data analysis, client feedback, and industry trends.
- Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance CEPRES's market position and client value proposition.
- Engage in networking opportunities to represent CEPRES and expand professional relationships.
Documentation and Resources:
- Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive resources and guides to support clients' ongoing success with CEPRES solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and accessibility of all documentation provided to clients.
With your expertise and commitment to excellence, you will play a vital role in guiding the Professional Services team to optimize client solutions, enhance operational processes, and contribute to the overall success of CEPRES.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master degree, preferably in Finance, or equivalent career experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience working hands on with private markets investment data in a commercial environment (Fund of Fund, Consultancy, Solutions Vendor, or similar)
- Strong understanding of M&A concepts, especially in the context of private markets.
- Client facing with exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and able to wotrk with demanding clients.
- Proven project management capabilities, with a track record of managing complex projects and delivering on time.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, project deployments, and industry events.
