The Sales Manager is a key role at CEPRES to contribute directly to the growth of our company and expand our footprint in the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a CEPRES expert and advocate; learn all aspects of CEPRES solutions and how they solve client problems and be a champion to clients and the industry at large for CEPRES.
  • Manage an assigned sales territory (e.g. based on geography and client types) to generate new sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Generate sufficient pipeline and convert qualified leads into closed business to achieve consistently and ideally exceed revenue quota.
  • Monitor and respond to fitting RFI / RFP / ITT client queries, ensuring the best chance of being shortlisted.
  • Work with Marketing and BDR reps to build target lists and develop outreach strategies to build pipeline, optimize lead generation and efficiently hand-off into your pipeline.
  • Gain knowledge of CEPRES solutions and learn how to position in the market to get buy-in from prospects.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and initial demonstrations of CEPRES solutions, showcasing how our software and data solves client challenges and convince of the value proposition.
  • Work with Pre-Sales Solution Consultants to develop tailored pitches, demonstrations and proof of concept trials that convince prospects to engage and close new business.
  • Nurture a full pipeline of business, spending time with prospects throughout multiple stages of the sales funnel leading to executed contracts.
  • Effectively use CRM to track pipeline and support sales reporting as well as other technology to enhance effectiveness.
  • Contribute to sales thought leadership to share best practices and enhance the overall capability of the company.
  • Be a Private Markets expert, be aware of industry trends, drivers and initiatives, especially in relation to investment decision-making; understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market, read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts, leadership and initiatives.
  • Become a CEPRES brand ambassador and represent CEPRES as an expert at industry and partner events to help drive awareness of CEPRES to the broader market.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
  • 3-7 years or working experience in the financial sector or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects with tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to converse with a wide variety of audiences, including portfolio management, investment managers, investor relations, technology stakeholders, and C-level investment decision-makers.
  • A team player building strong cross-functional relationships across the organization to solve client-driven demands.
  • You have a consultative nature seek to understand problems and propose creative solutions through data and technology when selling.
  • You have experience working with a modern revenue technology stack — CRM, sales automation and engagement, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, among others
  • You are tenacious and self-motivated to generate pipeline and close new business.
