What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Person position at CEPCO Management Inc.?
CEPCO Management Inc. is a family-owned property management company that oversees apartment and townhome communities throughout Minnesota. We are committed to providing a well-maintained living environment for our residents and are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders of various types, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliances, general, and routine resident requests, and apartment turnovers.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Fabricate or modify parts to complete necessary repairs.
- Assist Site Managers in coordinating and supervising outside contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, repairs, and general prep
- Available for occasional after-hours emergency calls
- Provide excellent customer service to our residents, ensuring their satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise others when needed.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background check
