If you thrive in a hands-on production environment and want to play a key role in the performance of a critical plating operation, this role offers the chance to own meaningful improvements, support production, and directly influence equipment reliability and throughput.
We’re looking for an Electrical Products Plater Engineer to lead plater process improvements, support day-to-day operations, and drive uptime, quality, and efficiency across the line. You’ll work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, while owning both the technical and data-driven aspects of plating performance.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to expert for improving and supporting the plater process through hands-on engineering, data-driven decision-making, and operational leadership:
- Collect and analyze downtime data to improve plater uptime.
- Make improvement recommendations based on real-time and historical data.
- Provide technical support to production by recommending process parameters that maximize throughput.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and support all activities related to implementing process improvements.
- Develop and maintain clear operating procedures for plater operators.
- Ensure the critical spare parts inventory is maintained and available.
- Maintain and improve the electrowinning process through accurate logging of process times and bath analysis.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Support equipment and production employees as needed.
- Help promote a positive, collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated initiative and urgency when driving improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience managing or leading a team.
