Job Description
In this role, you will drive advancements in thermal spray manufacturing processes. You will leverage digital tools, modern inspection technologies, and data-driven methods to improve product quality and machine reliability. Your contributions will reduce downtime, enhance production efficiency, and ensure coatings meet stringent performance standards. You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous monitoring of thermal spray coating processes within the combustion manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize next-generation thermal spray inspection and testing methods.
- Lead implementation of digital monitoring systems for quality assurance and preventive maintenance.
- Integrate sensors, IoT devices, and analytics to provide real-time insights.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and deploy effective corrective actions.
- Train production teams on new technologies and update manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, IT, and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement.
- Deploy best practices and inspection standards across the broader network.
Essential Skills
- Experience with HVOF/APS coating technologies.
- Competence in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing, metallurgical evaluation, and non-metallic materials.
- Professional quality assurance experience.
This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
PTO: 18 Paid Time Off days plus 4 floating holidays, totaling 22 days 8 company paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Retirement Savings Plan: Includes a 401K which offers $1 for $1 company match up to 6% of your contribution. You are eligible to contribute from your date of hire, with a 2-year vesting period for the company match.
