This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resident relations, lease administration, and property compliance to foster a positive living environment. They act as the primary liaison between residents and management, addressing concerns promptly and effectively to maintain community harmony. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with maintenance, leasing, and administrative teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues and adherence to company policies. Ultimately, the Resident Management Specialist contributes to the overall success of property management by enhancing resident retention and supporting operational excellence.
This is a full-time position located at our home office in Lincoln, NE.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, resident relations, or a related customer service role within the real estate industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse resident populations and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and communications technology
- Practice in organizational and adaptive skills for the best success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with conflict resolution techniques and resident engagement strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support operational decision-making.
- Basic maintenance knowledge appreciated.
- Multilingual abilities to support communication in diverse communities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day resident communications, including responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with management on filing and attending eviction processes
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Prepare and communicate on administrative reports on resident issues, billing issues, and notices for residents
- 24-hour emergency on-call rotation with the management teams
