Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in delivering our mission and achieving our goals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the air conditioning and heating wholesale distribution process and facility with regard to employees, logistics and branch sales. You will be expected to pull and prepare orders to be delivered to customers and ensuring that deliveries are timely and correct via established routes. 

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

    Coordinate inside sales and warehouse activities with regard to the customer and purchasing needs.
    Oversees all aspects of the warehouse including shipping, receiving and inter company transfers. 
    Manage all vehicle delivery routes and drivers with regard to company policy, state/federal agency requirements.
    Propose and maintain new systems/programs with regard to warehousing, fleet and branch sales.
    Assist Outside Sales Staff to meet the needs of customers.
    Oversee and assist Branch Management with all personnel related functions including recruiting and selection, disciplinary action, training, employee relations, payroll, and benefits, adhering to legal requirements, performance appraisals and terminations.
    Oversee inventory process with regard to company policy and goals.
    Work with other members of Management to ensure the overall performance of the company."
 

"Educational Requirements and/or Experience Required 

Operations Manager must have at least 5 yrs in a supervisory position in a wholesale/distribution environment or other job-related disciplines

Skills

    Supervisory and managerial skills
    Effective verbal and written communication skills
    General understanding of profit and loss statements
    Good understanding of internal computer application and report writing
    Ability to multi-task activities
    Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
