- Oversee merger-related audits, consolidations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with external CPA firms during merger and transition processes to maintain financial integrity.
- Manage and mentor two direct reports, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Support consulting and audit activities to maintain accurate books and improve financial processes.
- Strong expertise in SEC reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience with mergers, consolidations, and related financial activities.
- Ability to work effectively with external auditors and CPA firms.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex financial scenarios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting and audit management.
- Familiarity with public company reporting requirements and GAAP standards.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
