Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Part-Time Administrative Assistant must be proficient in Outlook and have a general knowledge of MS Word.
This position will primarily be responsible for general administrative functions and will report directly to the Office Manager.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- 2-3 years of accounting or administrative experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency in word processing required and spreadsheet software preferred
- Attention to detail required
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate completion & return to clubs of credit applications
- Assist with mailing and filing of IRS and state tax returns
- Gather backup required for club-related audits (financial & tax)
- Assist with coding of expense reports and invoices
- Assist with the preparation of month-end binders
- Coordinate regular information requests from clubs
- Special projects as assigned
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Will spend time working at the computer in fulfilling job requirements
- Multi-tasking and follow-up on issues is necessary
- Must be able to work in a team environment
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
The Accounting Administrative Assistant is a part-time position and works in an open office environment with other accounting staff.
