What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upholstery Inspector position at Century Furniture?
Summary Job Description
This position is responsible for performing the final inspection of high-end upholstered furniture.
Essential Duties
- Streams various fabrics
- Removes any excess thread/fabric from cushions and upholstery
- Fastens cushions into the upholstered furniture and labels units correctly
- Identifies defects within the upholstered and finishes
- Tags defects for repair
- Verifies quality of high-end furniture and prints appropriate inspection label and scans for packing
- Returns excess COM as noted on ticket
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous upholstery experience required
