What are the responsibilities and job description for the Raffia / Wallpaper Associate position at Century Furniture?
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for cutting and applying raffia / wallpaper for furniture such as game tables, cocktail tables, and consoles.
Position Details:
- Must be able to self inspect and touch up unwrapped cases with dents and chips before applying Raffia.
- Apply glue and Raffia/wallpaper ensuring miters and joints are straight and even, all bubbles are out, and Raffia/wallpaper is lying flat.
- Maintains glue levels, ensuring glue is on order when needed.
- Observes plant safety rules while maintaining a neat and clean work area
- Must be quality conscious in assigned duties
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to read route card
- Previous experience with wallpaper & raffia preferred
