What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Century Furniture?
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Inspect furniture as needed in any area of plant production. Look at the product as you are the customer. Must understand the complete case production to the finished product. Has a keen eye to find a quality issue. Takes a final exit photo of all products exiting plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inspect furniture for imperfections
Touch up and repair tables and beds that have dents, scratches, chips etc. using appropriate tools
Ensure color consistency, distressing and overall product quality
Observes plant safety rules. Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous inspection/repair experience preferred
