Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to install, program, and test fire alarm systems according to project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your skills while installing systems that protect people and property.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret fire alarm and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Review drawings and verify job materials and parts.
- Install and program fire alarm control panels and related equipment.
- Install devices, conduit, and wiring according to design drawings and applicable codes.
- Drill, route, and install cabling in areas including crawlspaces and attics.
- Troubleshoot system issues and test devices and components for proper operation.
- Perform final acceptance testing with the AHJ.
- Complete reports and documentation required to certify system installation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
⭐ What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fire alarm and/or low-voltage installation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work safely and efficiently in a variety of job site environments.
