What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at Centurion Health?
MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a Dentist to join our team at State Correctional Institution-Somerset located in Somerset, Pennsylvania. This position is for 37.5 hours/week.
The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
- Graduation with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from a school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program; with emphasis in the Dental Medicine, with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
- Possession of a current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Possession of a current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
