Contract Length: 8 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Shifts Available: 12-hr Shifts

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Travel Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department, ensuring safety, compassion, and effective treatment throughout all stages of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ER setting.
• Triage incoming patients based on severity and medical urgency.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and document all aspects of care accurately.
• Monitor and manage patients with critical or life-threatening conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room or Level I/II Trauma setting – Required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic medical record systems.
