We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Travel Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department, ensuring safety, compassion, and effective treatment throughout all stages of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ER setting.
- Triage incoming patients based on severity and medical urgency.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and document all aspects of care accurately.
- Monitor and manage patients with critical or life-threatening conditions.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room or Level I/II Trauma setting – Required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic medical record systems.
