Travel RN- Intermediate Care (IMCU/PCU)

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Day | 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,160 - $2,340; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in the Intermediate Care (IMCU/PCU) unit. The ideal candidate will have travel experience, strong critical care skills, and the flexibility to float as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for IMCU/PCU patients, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.
• Document all care accurately and thoroughly in the EMR (EPIC required).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Flexibly float to other units as needed.

Required Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Active NY RN license (and all other RN licenses verified).
• EMR experience required: EPIC.
• Ability to float as needed.
