RN- Medical / Surgical (Contract Role)

• Location: Laconia, NH, 03246
• Duration: 13-weeks contract
• Shift: 12hr Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $1,980 $2,160; (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Laconia, NH, for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital protocols.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and post-hospital care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (Medical/Surgical specialty)
• Licensure: Active NH RN license or Compact State RN license (required).
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
  • NIHSS (Stroke Certification) required
• EMR Experience: Cerner preferred (not required).
• Licensure Verification: All active RN licenses must be verified.
