Registered Nurse - Pediatrics​​​​​​​ (Night Shift)

• Location: Concord, New Hampshire, 03301
• Duration: 13-weeks contract
• Shift: 12hr Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2,088 $2,232; (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Unit on a 13-week night shift contract in Concord, NH. The RN will provide high-quality, family-centered care to pediatric patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate and support patients' families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Certification:
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 2 years of recent pediatric acute care experience required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
