Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)
Location: Machias, Maine
Pay Rate: $1,700 To 1,920/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Machias, Maine. This opportunity is ideal for experienced perioperative nurses who are confident in both circulating and scrubbing surgical procedures while delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a collaborative surgical environment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
Perform circulating, scrubbing, and recovery room duties as required
Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
RequirementsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to scrub, circulate, and assist in PACU/Recovery Room as needed
CNOR certification preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required
