Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Location: Utica, New York
Pay Rate: $2500 To $2640/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Variable Day Shift (4x10 Hours)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for adult patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
Prepare the operating room, surgical equipment, and sterile field while ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team during complex cardiac surgeries
Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems to support efficient workflow and safe medication management
Float to other units as required based on patient census and operational needs
Requirements
Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Must be available for variable 10-hour day shifts and shared on-call responsibilities
