Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room

Location: Utica, New York

Pay Rate:$2,400 To $2,640 /Week

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, variable shifts

Experience: Minimum 1 year required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Utica, New York. This role supports adult cardiovascular operating room procedures in a 2-bed CVOR setting with 1:1 patient ratios, call coverage, and floating as needed based on census.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for adult cardiovascular operating room patients

Support CVOR procedures and perioperative care within scope of practice

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and support medication workflow with Omnicell

Float to clinically appropriate areas as needed based on census and competency

Requirements

Active New York Registered Nurse License Required

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree required

Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular OR or Operating Room RN experience required

BLS/BCLS And ACLS Certifications Required

Must be available for 4x10 variable day shifts, call coverage up to 7 days per 4-week schedule, and one full weekend call rotation
