Pay Rate: $1,900 To $2,088 /week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports adult medical-surgical patients on the 6th floor and requires strong post-surgical care experience, EPIC documentation skills, travel nursing experience, and flexibility to float as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adult Med Surg and post-surgical patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately using EPIC
Care for patients with abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery needs
Manage IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes, and related medical-surgical equipment
Collaborate with the care team and float to appropriate units as needed based on competency
Requirements
Active New York Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
AHA BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Must be available for night shift schedule, navy blue scrub requirement, and floating as assigned
