About the Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Springfield, Colorado. This role supports patients across inpatient, long-term care, Alzheimer's care, home health, and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will provide patient evaluations, treatment planning, therapy interventions, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Responsibilities
Perform patient screenings, evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
Manage therapy caseloads across inpatient, LTC, Alzheimer's, home health, and outpatient settings
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve function, safety, and independence
Communicate patient progress with physicians, rehab team members, patients, and families
Complete therapy documentation, billing support, and care records accurately and on time
Requirements
Active Colorado Occupational Therapist License Required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Occupational Therapy experience preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered
Strong evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and patient education skills required
Must be available for day shift schedule with occasional Saturday coverage
