About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Nashua, New Hampshire. The technologist will support both Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures by scrubbing procedures and operating associated radiologic imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures.
Operate radiologic imaging equipment and pan heart catheters during cardiac catheterization procedures.
Position and prepare patients and set up required equipment and supplies for procedures.
Evaluate acquired images for appropriate density, contrast, detail, and diagnostic quality.
Maintain procedure rooms, imaging equipment, and supplies while documenting care accurately and collaborating with the clinical team.
Requirements
Minimum 3 Years of Recent Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Experience Required.
Current, Active New Hampshire Radiologic Technologist License Required.
Current ARRT Certification Required.
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
Completion of a Certificate or Degree Program in Radiologic Technology Required; Cardiac Cath Lab Scrubbing, X-Ray Equipment Operation, IABP, and Impella Experience Required.
