About the RoleWe are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role supports procedures involving Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Left Atrial Appendage Closure.
The technologist will assist with procedural preparation, sterile technique, patient monitoring, radiation safety, and accurate documentation while collaborating with the cardiac procedural team.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients, equipment, and sterile supplies for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, TAVR, and related procedures.
Monitor and record procedural data, maintain event logs, and document required clinical information accurately.
Apply patient monitoring equipment, prepare access sites, and maintain sterile and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
Scrub into procedures as required while following infection prevention and sterile technique standards.
Maintain radiation safety by monitoring fluoroscopy time and radiation exposure and using appropriate protective measures.
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program Required.
Active Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License Required.
Current ARRT or ARRT(R) Registration Required.
Cardiovascular Technologist Registration Required.
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required; Ability to Participate in Weeknight, Weekend, and Holiday Coverage Required.
The Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist will support safe and efficient cardiovascular procedures through skilled technical, sterile, monitoring, and radiation-safety practices.
