The Project Engineer's ability to design the process by which we manufacture parts is foundational to Centro's ability to provide quality parts and ultimately satisfy the customer.
Job Summary:
- The Project Engineer assures that internal and external customers receive quality services and products.
- Assumes the responsibility for detailed communication with external customers regarding the feasibility and improvement of projects.
- The Project Engineer is responsible for establishing accurate and timely responses to the sales department regarding costs and design improvements for particular customer inquiries.
- Assumes the responsibility for design, purchase and construction of all tools required by particular customer orders.
- The Project Engineer is responsible for supervising all aspects of prototyping, including allocation of supporting resources, verification of customer requirements and timely sample deliveries.
- Assumes the responsibility for timely, safe, accurate and well-communicated production launches.
- Retains direct responsibility for project maintenance, including safety, engineering changes and improvements.
