Requirements
Education
- Required:Must have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Or a master’s or bachelor’s degree in other field with 5 years of Project Engineer experience.
- Preferred:Master’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering.
- Required:Internship with field experience
- Preferred:Internship and/or 2 years of job-related experience.
- Position requires an understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation. Individual must have interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.
- Assist with the development and implementation of normal operating procedures for overall project operations.
- Act as company representative in negotiations with the owners.
- Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives.
- Ensure the preparation of required project documentation.
- Contribute to communication plan and change management elements.
- Determine long lead items for pre-order requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate activities and resources needed for efficient execution of work.
- Prepare project status reports and provide data to others for reporting as needed.
