Centric Events & Rentals in Phoenix, AZ is searching for a competent video technician to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, engaged, and willing to wear many hats.
Centric Events & Rentals is a small but growing team of people who are excited about events. Our company straddles three industries: Event Production, Audio-Visual and Event Rentals. In order to keep this momentum going and care well for our existing team we are ready to bring on another talented individual who loves logistics, setting things up and has intermediate to advanced skills primarily in the field of video, with general audio-visual setup capabilities.
Position Overview:
A Video Technician is responsible for the setup and operation of video systems for in-person, virtual, corporate, and concert style events. This role will be focused on the setup, strike (teardown), and operation of video systems.The goal of our organization is a well executed event through timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audio-visual equipment at each event. Whether it is a wedding, concert, prom, or business workshop it is important that this technician is able to modify the audio-visual needs based on real-time customer feedback. The technician should be able to set up a basic to intermediate projector and screen system. Other A/V experience such as audio or lighting is a bonus. We look forward to receiving your application. Compensation:
$20-25/hr depending on experience.
Basic Requirements:
-A driver's license and clean driving record.
-Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
-Must be able to lift 75lbs multiple times throughout a shift.
-Team-player mentality.
What your days will look like:
-Load and unload equipment for transport to and from jobsite.
-Work with our team and event professionals to clarify expectations and review setup objectives.
-Running video and power cables.
-Placing screens, projectors, cameras, and video switchers.
-Running various video equipment for corporate events or concerts (switchers, cameras, etc).
-Troubleshooting any possible problems that may arise during the course of an event.
-Break down equipment from events and return to the warehouse.
-Work through associated tasks contributing to the success of an event such as proper maintenance and storage of equipment.
-Working with management to identify additional gear needs related to the success of our events.
