Responsibilities
Managing Wide scope of events ranging from $5k-$30k in revenue.
Planning & Pre-Production
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules and task timelines.
- Coordinate technical requirements with in-house and freelance leads.
- Define labor needs and submit crew requests aligned with budget targets.
- Confirm all logistics (deliveries, rentals, load-in/load-out plans).
Budget & Profitability
- Maintain and monitor project profitability (targeting 58% margin).
- Track actual vs. estimated costs; submit reconciliations post-show.
- Approve vendor quotes, crew rates, and other external spend in alignment with job scope.
- Identify and mitigate margin risks early.
Client & Team Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during planning and execution.
- Translate client goals into technical and creative execution plans.
- Lead internal and client-facing meetings, calls, and site visits.
- Clearly brief crews, department leads, and technicians before every event.
Execution & Onsite Management
- Oversee or delegate on-site operations during load-in, show, and strike.
- Ensure safety, show quality, timing, and client satisfaction onsite.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Project Management / Project Coordination Experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms (Odoo, Asana, etc.).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed for event execution.
- Exposure to event production, rentals, or audiovisual environments.
- Interest in growing into a full Project Manager role.
- BONUS if you have experience with targeting outbound leads, CRM Platforms, or Full Scope Project Management.
