In this role, you will:
- Serve as the Product Owner for educational software initiatives within 1-2 Scrum teams.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with developers, admins, and architects to ensure successful delivery of customer-facing and/or backend features. Prioritize and manage the product backlog to align with strategic goals and timelines.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams.
- Leverage consulting experience to engage stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Work with POs from other Scrum teams and the Product Management team to align on priorities and outcomes.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
- Validate delivered software against business requirements during UAT.
- Monitor KPIs and feedback to continuously improve product functionality. Stay current with business needs and priorities.
- Seasoned Business Product Owner (PO) with 5–7 years of experience.
- Some knowledge of Education Technology is highly desired.
- Strategic thinker with experience working with building and integrating software.
- Experience working as a PO on software of any kind is required Strong consulting background Passion for driving product success.
- Experience design and/or user experience knowledge is desirable.
