NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: Junior/Senior High Paraprofessional
REPORTS TO: Jr/Sr High Principal
STARTING DATE: August 11, 2026
TYPE OF WORK: Support students and assist teachers/administration by providing
academic help, behavior monitoring, and student supervision.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s Degree and/or has passed ParaPro/Work Keys Assessment.
- Strong work ethic with excellent work habits and attendance.
- Passion for kids and a desire to be a positive team member throughout the building and district.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with jr/sr high school students in an educational setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
SALARY: As per the negotiated CESP contract. (Hourly range: $15.88-$19.68)
WORK DAY/WORK YEAR: 6 hours, 50 minutes per day. The work year follows the
student calendar.
