What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Sales Associate position at Central Vermont Motorcycles?
We are seeking a Parts Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will help to complete daily operations in the Parts Department in an efficient and professional manner.
Expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
- Looking up OEM parts using a microfiche for both customers and technicians
- Ordering and receiving parts /accessories for customers, the sales and service department
- Process parts and accessories transactions, including cash handling and credit card transactions
- Periodically completing parts inventory when directed by the Parts Manager to ensure accuracy
- Assisting customers in the showroom with parts and apparel inquiries
- Regularly checking the showroom to keep apparel and accessories stocked and in order
- Maintain a clean and organized parts room/showroom
- Packaging and shipping of parts to customers
- Working with all departments to ensure productivity and profitability of the company
Experience:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Prior experience in customer service (1 year)
- Prior experience in the powersports industry is a plus
- Attention to detail and organization
- The ability to communicate with other departments professionally and effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,440.00 - $45,000.00 per year
