Who We're Seeking: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to serve as both a Pediatric High-Tech Nurse, delivering comprehensive and family-centered care to children with complex medical needs. In this dual role, you will provide specialized in-home nursing care, operate advanced medical equipment, and manage intricate care plans for medically fragile children. Simultaneously, you will coordinate interdisciplinary teams to offer holistic palliative care, ensuring that every child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

 Your Responsibilities: As a member of our dedicated team, you'll:

• Deliver exceptional in-home nursing care for pediatric patients requiring advanced medical support.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment including ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, and more.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to medical emergencies.                
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to create personalized care plans.
• Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child’s medical needs.
• Facilitate care transitions between hospitals, homes, and other care settings.
• Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients and their families withing the healthcare system.

 Qualifications:

• Active Vermont RN license, BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric care, palliative care, or related field. High-tech nursing is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive support to families.
• A heart for pediatric patients and a passion for delivering compassionate care.
