Job Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
- Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom where children feel supported and valued
- Supervise and actively engage children throughout the day following a structured schedule
- Provide daily care including diapering, potty training, meals, and snacks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
- Support positive classroom management and lesson planning
- Build strong relationships with families and coworkers through open communication and a shared sense of community
- Document child health, daily activities, and classroom moments (including photos) using the ProCare App
- Collaborate with a supportive team and participate in staff meetings
- Encouraged participation in school events such as fundraisers, staff celebrations, Back to School Bash, Trunk or Treat, and more!
- Complete 20 hours of annual continuing education through PDR
- Be adaptable, reliable, lead with integrity, and model Methodist values in all interactions
- Assist with other duties as needed to support our school community
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Background checks and reference checks required
- Must comply with all Arkansas Minimum Licensing Requirements and Standards
Salary: Up to $15.00 per hour
Expected hours:25-40hrs per week
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
