Central Trucking Inc is seeking an experienced class A truck driver for double bottoms. This position is perfect for an individual looking to work locally and getting to home terminal every night.
With safety a priority, all drivers at Central Trucking Inc. undergo a thorough background check plus drug screening.
Responsibilities:
- Drive dump truck over rough terrain.
- Be at the job site on timely manner.
- Accurately weigh loads and dispose of waste at specific sites.
- Report damage to truck, accidents and unsafe drivers.
- Maintain cleanliness of truck and wear protective gear.
- Fill out paperwork accurately.
- Drive truck on highway and city streets.
- Negotiate tight turns and park the truck in a small space.
- Keep up-to-date with current regulations regarding waste disposal, safety and job performance.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license that MUST be 1 year or older
- Proven experience in dump truck driving especially double bottoms.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with operating commercial vehicles and manual transmission
