Summary of Position
Responsible for promoting and directing the college's recruitment program locally and statewide; and coordinating recruitment and marketing activities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher learning required.
Two years full-time wage earning professional experience in recruiting, outreach, marketing, admission or relevant experience in education preferably at the higher education level required.
Knowledge Skills and Ability
- Proficient computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and the ability to use student information systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; highly organized and energetic.
- Must be versatile and have the ability to connect with and deliver high-energy presentations to graduating seniors, parents, adult learners, military affiliated and community stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team and assist in other areas outside of recruitment and outreach.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours, (i.e. evenings and weekends), and travel.
- Skilled at highlighting campus amenities (Planetarium, Fitness Center, Dorms) as the primary hub for student belonging.
- Must be able to speak to the career outcomes of specific clusters (e.g., Cybersecurity vs. Welding vs. Nursing).
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have personal transportation available.
- Must qualify for coverage under CTC’s commercial auto policy.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the development and implementation of the college’s recruitment plan.
- Assist in the coordination and staffing of on-site high school visits, Fast Track, and lunchtime table displays.
- Assist in the development and coordination of events including college & career fairs, community showcase, and open house, on and off campus, to promote the college’s mission and provide information to prospective students.
- Support college departments and locations as necessary in promotion, marketing, and recruitment and outreach.
- Must work with college departments to stay up-to-date with college policies and programs.
- Assist prospective students and applicants with general information about the application process utilizing multiple channels.
- Maintains records on contacts and communications in the CRM.
- Assist in the management of the customer relationship management (CRM) software; ensure every lead receives the "Welcome" email sequence and personalized follow-up by email, text and calls as appropriate.
- Assist in the development of marketing content (flyers, brochures, social media, website, etc.)
- Assist with fulfillment of requests for promotional items.
- Assist during peak registration periods and graduation, as needed.
- Assist with the continuous follow-up of prospective students through the enrollment funnel.
- Monitor the ctc.info@ctcd.edu and future.eagles@ctcd.edu email accounts on a daily basis.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
