What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Ambassador position at Central Texas College?
Summary of Position
To attend events at local high schools and assist in conducting campus tours and other local events designed to recruit students. Speaking to small and large crowds as required.
Education and Experience
- No experience necessary, training will be provided.
The ambassador must be enrolled in at least 6 credits with CTC/TAMCT during the long semesters each (Fall and Spring). In addition, ambassadors will not be able to work while not enrolled during the fall and spring semester.
Must attach transcripts to application to be considered for this position.
Knowledge Skills and Ability
- Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
- Ability to speak in front of groups
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Must be articulate.
- Must be able to write and generate reports.
Essential Functions
- To attend recruiting functions and actively interact with prospective students and parents.
- Assist in preparation for off and on campus events as directed.
- Prepare contact reports.
- Assist in conducting campus tours to prospective students.
