Summary Of Position
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Administrator maintains and provides technical support for a large-scale VDI deployment. The position is primarily responsible for providing maintenance and technical support for Central Texas College's virtual desktop environment. They will use knowledge and experience to create and change image software configurations, and increase adoption of VDI. Responsible for the third party software review and installation management.
Minimum Required Education
Associate's degree from a nationally or regionally accredited university is required.
Minimum Required Experience
5 years of Information Technology experience, including customer service in an IT environment required.
Experience with records management and inventory control desired.
Experience can be all inclusive.

- Experience supporting clients through a management console.
- Skill utilizing software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate trouble shooting processes and conduct appropriate upgrades.
- Maintain current and accurate software and Infrastructure records.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet changing priorities and complete task on schedule.
- Use computer programs and databases to store, retrieve, and compile data.
