Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques to encourage participation and positive behavior.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care tailored to individual requirements.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Organize engaging activities that stimulate cognitive growth, motor skills, and social interaction among children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with an understanding of toddler care routines.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
- Certification in first aid is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous.
