Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify termite infestations and other pest issues.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on inspection findings and client needs.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods and treatment options.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up recommendations.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for treatment applications.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping, or farming tasks as part of integrated pest management strategies when required.
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in sales, pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and equipment used in pest management.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently; valid driver’s license required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills for identifying pest activity.
- Good communication skills for explaining findings and recommendations to clients.
- Ability to work independently in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn about new pest control techniques and stay updated on industry standards.
