Job Overview
Central States Galvanizing - located in Terre Haute, IN – is in need of experienced maintenance technicians. These positions will be full time and covering first shift. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 years’ experience in general maintenance in an industrial setting with an emphasis on electrical maintenance
* PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience
* Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse screen
* A valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following:
* Performing Preventative Maintenance in an industrial setting
* Repairing machines and/or mechanical equipment
* Troubleshooting and maintenance of programmable logic controllers
* Troubleshooting electrical systems and controls
* Installation and/or repairing furnaces and burner systems
* Installation and/or repairing pneumatic systems
* Welding and Torch use
* Fork Lift and Aerial Lift use
Physical Requirements
* The ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds
* The ability to regularly climb ladders
* Flexibility to bend, kneel and squat repeatedly during shift
* The ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
