Job Title: Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (NOC/Overnight) Division/Program: Crisis Residential Treatment Facility (CRT Program) Adult 24/7 Inpatient Residential Starting Compensation: 32.00 - 34.00 USD Per Hour Working Location: Fresno, CA Working Hours/Shift: Every Wednesday NOC/Overnight 6PM-630AM ($2 NOC Shift Differential) Why Join Our Team? Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG: Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required. Associate degree in nursing or social sciences preferred. (1) year nursing experience required, preferably treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting. (Clinical nursing school rotations may be substituted for a portion of work experience.) (1) year medication administration experience preferred. Valid California LVN or LPT license required. How you will make a difference: Visually and audibly observes, documents in writing, and reports orally or in writing the physical or mental condition to the Program Manager and the attending physician or nurse practitioner. Orders, prepares, administers, and documents the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ orders. Monitors and maintains appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record for shift worked. Communicates pertinent information verbally and in writing to all team members. Assists in crisis intervention (including the use of Pro-ACT) and provides support and assistance in problem resolution. Uses Pro-ACT to appropriately intervene with assaultive/volatile clients. Reads and responds to company communications via email, telephone, or other selected mode within a reasonable timeframe. Logs into established company information sharing sites regularly to maintain current knowledge of changes in policy, procedure, events, etc. Division/Program Overview: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program 16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59) Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services Pre-vocational or vocational counseling Medication evaluation and support services Learn more about SBHG at: https://www.starsinc.com/stars-inc/ For Additional Information: CencalJobs@starsinc.com In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 26.16 - 41.85. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
