Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks, including loader and backhoe operations.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks as needed.
- Assist in horizontal drilling and grading operations as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator with a strong background in heavy equipment operation.
- Proficient in operating various machinery including loaders, backhoes, and graders.
- Mechanical knowledge and commercial driving experience are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate water trucks and perform horizontal drilling tasks effectively.
- Experience with Caterpillar equipment and dump truck operations is a plus.
