We are seeking a detail-oriented Medicaid Coordinator to manage applications and support residents and families through the Medicaid process.
Responsibilities
Handle Nursing Home Medicaid applications, renewals and recertifications
Assist residents/families with documentation and eligibility
Track pending cases and follow up for approvals
Maintain accurate records
Redirecting of income (NAMI) and monitoring that all necessary forms are completed
Work with Admissions, Billing and Social Work teams
Resolve application issues, delays, or denials
Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations
Qualifications
Experience with Medicaid in a nursing home setting preferred
Strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and follow-up skills
