Education and Experience:
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have two - three (2-3) year's medical experience working in a Health Care setting
- Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable
Job Purpose:
- Performs complex work screening and reviewing applicants for possible TANF, Medicaid, Supplemental Security and Social Security eligibility potential.
- Work involves interviewing clients, verifying financial information and other case data.
- Will interpret Medicaid policies for staff, assist in Medicaid training for staff and may review records to determine continuing Medicaid eligibility.
Job Function:
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform functions competently, communicate and relate effectively with others, assist in planning, development, and implementation of program policy and procedures.
- Must carry out complicated oral/written instructions
- Must demonstrate competency in computer skills, maintain integrity while working independently
