What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter Tech position at Central Peninsula Hospital?

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Transporter Tech coordinates trash, linen and BIO duties to provide a clean and adequate supply of linens for each nursing area and hospital department, as well as the removal of all BIO and trash. The Transporter is responsible for par-level requirements throughout the hospital.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of Environmental Services experience in a Healthcare Setting, preferred
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST), preferred

We offer health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and much more. Starting pay ranges from $17.68 to $20.21 per hour, depending on experience. Additional compensation is available for qualifying night and weekend shifts.
